HOW TO USE YOUR ANDROID AS A MOUSE FOR YOUR PC

Overview

Use your android device as a remote touchpad or keypad to control your Windows or Mac PC via Wifi or USB. With gPad you can download specific keypads from the gPad categories or define your own keypads and share them with the world. Expand the controls of your PC, automate key sequences and facilitate your digital experience!

The gPad menu screen has the following options:
  • tOuchpad to use gPad as a remote touchpad with buttons and scroll area
  • gPad overview with a list of all your created and downloaded profiles
  • eDitor, where you can create and edit all your profiles
  • sEttings page to setup your connection type and button appearance

Fully functional keyboard

gPad features a full functional qwerty keyboard to remotely control your pc or mac. The keyboard can be called from the tOuchpad or a gPad using the menu button of your device. It's available in horizontal or vertical mode. The keyboard has all the common keys that can be found on a full keyboard:
  • Letters (a-z)
  • Symbols ( . , / \ [ ] ...)
  • Alt/ctrl/shift/...
  • F1-F12
  • Mac key

tOuchpad

Use your android device as a remote touchpad with a left/right button and scroll area. The faster you move, the further the pointer will go! You can also configure the mouse and scrolling speed in the settings.

HOW TO USE gPAD
Download the gPad installation package for Windows (22Mb) or Mac (3Mb) to your PC and launch the installation file. Follow the procedure and install the server to the desired location.

TO YOUR ANDROID
Download and install the gPad client [Market link] to your Android device. Or scan the following QR-Code with your device.

 Setup the connection

Server

Start the gPad server on the computer. The server is launched in the task bar (windows) or application dock (mac).

Client

If you want to use the wifi connection, start the wifi of your device first. Then start gPad. Open the 'sEttings' option to setup the connection. Via the 'Connection type' select USB or Wifi connection.
  • USB: If the cable is connected to the server computer and Android client, the connection setup is finished! You can use the 'reconnect via usb' option in the system tray if problems occur.
  • Wifi: Setup a connection password if wanted, scan for connected devices on the network and select the intended computer from the list. If you know the computer's ip address, you can also enter it manually.

  • Bluetooth: (Recomended) Make a connection between you pc and android phone. Then start the gpad in phone and pc while the pc bluetooth is still visible. Choose the connection type on your phone as bluetooth and then scan for your pc bluetooth. Then connect you pc after displaying its IP adress. (Make sure two similar IP adress appeared) After connecting press back and click touchpad and start enjoying.
When the connection is configured you can start using gPad. Download pre-configured gPads, make your own gPads,... Enjoy the tOuchpad and gPads!
